2013 the David Creative

What inspired you to become an artist?

I am (continuously) doing 2 projects. White and black. I want to have fun communicating with people through my white works. But black is different. I want to make people uncomfortable with them. My works are horizontal and vertical in nature. When I was 20 years old, I took my first regular job, but in my spare time I began to design characters. From that I thought I could do it better than others. After drawing characters for 4 years, I felt a little tired, therefore I started to work on planning products for my company. I discovered my ability to illustrate, so combined with character design I felt they worked good together. I am still looking for references and studying my favorite pictures too. I’m still working on becoming a thoughtful artist. I want to find out what compromise (there) is between natural and unnatural things.

How would you describe your art?

Much to my regret I haven’t trained or learned professionally. I am now making my own color philosophy. “…make colors look like one color even though (I have) used…many.” If horizontal and vertical are (constant) I want to tip and crush them.

What do you plan to release this upcoming year?

I have an interest in ancient culture. I just self study about history and religion. Ancient cultures have many stories. They’re fantastic! Better than Harry Potter or The Lord of the Rings. You know Islamic stories? Hanuman, Ganesha, and Nagasin, etc… This years focus is on the East and West in the past time
